One of the things as a parent you can count on is the unexpected. Yesterday I had one of those moments. Nothing can prepare you for the first time your child sticks their hand in their poopy diaper and unsure of what to do, comes to you, holds out her hand with a puzzled look on her face, and then wipes it on your shirt. Now that's love! Next time I will know to react sooner and dodge the hand. And just as I was typing this post, she yells out to me, "Mommy I have poops!" I cautiously approached and was happy to see poop free hands!
***This post is dedicated to my brother David...the one with the very easily induced gag reflex. "You will make a great dad someday, David, and have this to look forward to:)"
WOW! Haven't experienced that one....yet.
