Elaina LOVES corn! Diapers the day after...not as fun:(

Skylar is not a fan of eating like his sister is but he can sure drink his milk!

We went to Powder Valley and took a walk before hitting the nature center. Skylar hadn't been feeling well and crashed on us.

Labor Day at Momo's. We figured out we can stay later if we give them their baths there. Only took us 21 months to get that one. Plus they love being in a different tub. Here is Elaina playing with Momo's new cat and cousin Olivia.

Eating ribs that she stole from her Daddy! True Texas girl! We got to spend time with our friends from DC who also adopted their son from our agency. It is so fun to get together.

He is a climber! Up on the chair and just banging the shoes he picked up along the way. We often find him on top of the table. It only takes a second and he is up there. Good thing he is so cautious when he climbs.

Skylar was so interested in the butterflies but here he was watching the little waterfall. We couldn't keep up with him....he was all over the place chasing the butterflies and checking everything out!

Trying to catch a butterfly. Elaina was definitely more cautious when she first went into the Butterfly House. All those butterflies everywhere overwhelmed her and she was holding onto Daddy tight! Once she felt comfortable though she was really interested in them.

First Day at Preschool...Elaina loved it and was playing. When she saw Jon who was there to pick them up, she ran up and said hi and then ran back to playing.

I know it has been over a month since I posted pics last. We have actually even been taking lots of them though. Thing is I went back to work and it seems like all my free time is gone so posting might be a bit sporatic! I am loving being back to work and think I am just the kind of person who does better with a schedule...I must be like those first graders I teach. Life is very busy but we are all adjusting. Skylar and Elaina started day care and they love going to their sitter, Jessica's house. She has young children too and it is so fun to see them all playing and happy. The kids also started preschool one morning a week. These pictures are from meet the teacher day that Jon and Grandma Sharon took them to. The downside to teaching is definitely missing things like this. Pics from their first day to come but here they are exploring their new classroom.

On my last day of summer break and officially my last day of being a stay at home mom, we took the kids to the Museum of Transportation. So much fun!
